This year’s 2012 Sposa collection sees David pushing against the boundaries of conventional design using exquisite silk satins, delicate French lace and intricate trims, combined with luxurious textures and flowing silhouettes.
Last summer saw David celebrate 30 years as a bridalwear designer, and to mark the occasion he converted a disused pub into a sleek flagship store and design studio in London’s Chelsea district.
With uncompromising unbending attention to detail, and using cutting edge techniques, all of David’s pieces are made and hand finished in London right here in the United Kingdom.
David Fielden Sposa wedding collection 2012:
The 2012 collection contains creative, modern and avant-garde pieces, fashion forward yet sophisticated and elegant, true to David’s design philosophy which is ‘never to be subjected to the limitations of tradition’.
We like that statement. We can also draw parallels with it, so much so that we wanted to get our hands on one of David’s current designs and photograph at some point.
We were so pleased to be able to photograph our real client, in this elegant and graceful wedding dress.
The style is 7308 from the Sposa 2012 – designer wedding dress collection, which was supplied by stockist Silk Brides of Lichfield in Staffordshire.
This was beautifully complemented with wedding hair and stunning vintage styled designer accessories by Sarah Roberts of London, and with Make-Up Artistry applied expertly by NorthWest’s premier MUA Liz Griffiths.
We were pleased to work alongside the superb wedding planning co-ordinator Julie Dawson of The Wedding Genie on the day, to make certain the planning was smooth and seamless.
This ensured we had everything in place and on hand for our special client and the photo-shoot session, and therefore enabling us to remain innovative to create these glorious and romantic portraiture images in one of Shropshire’s most sumptuous private settings.
