Sneak Peek: Upstairs Downstairs Revival Part 1 London dress designer Motasem by UK wedding photographers Ashford Daly

Two Dresses with a Twist – Daytime flirty wedding dress and sultry evening gown looks for your wedding day.

Who says you have to stop with one gown, when they’re this well designed and fitted perfectly to your shape and style, then why not consider having a dual wedding day event, and make the most of a cute, easy to wear, and ever-so pretty shortie, with voluminous petticoats and Filippa Scott slingbacks to complete; then add to the drama later after a swift change after the ceremony, for the reception party, with a full on evening silhouette, embodying your greatest asset – you – a fabulous surprise and present for your groom.

Dress style here is Yvette, a strapless full skirt dress in stretch duchess satin worn with additional 50′s style petticoat, and separate vintage French corded lace button back bodice.

The ultimate experience for any bride when enjoying an amazing day and weekend full of marriage celebrations.

The Upstairs Downstairs styling to this photography was easy to realise on the day we shot, given the design and detailing of the wedding dresses, along with the location and environment of this wedding venue decor and the dapper and stylish tailoring, we were back in the 1930′s within a flash.

Complemented with hair design style, Art Decco accessories and make up artistry befitting the era, our real client loved the overall finishing brought together by our experienced wedding team.

Motasem dresses are made exclusively in the UK and can be delivered within two months. Shorter timescales may also be possible by speaking with Sabina. Dresses can also be altered to fit. Prices start from £900 for wedding dresses and £300 for cocktail dresses. About the Designer:

Sabina Ali, the creative director behind Sabina Motasem, spent several years working in design, production and graphics in fashion and media before starting the bridal range. In 2005, she received commissions to design a simple and elegant wedding dress. They were a huge hit and other orders quickly followed. There was clearly a gap in the market and the idea for Sabina Motasem was born. In the summer of 2006, Sabina won an award on the New Entrepreneur Scholarship and was selected to showcase her collection at Zandra Rhodes’ Fashion and Textile museum.

The following year saw the Aurora and Alaya dresses grace the red carpet at the premiere of the first Twilight film. The Alaya dress is a highly flattering bias cut cowl neck wedding dress, a popular style of the last two years, is perfect for those yearning for a Pippa Middleton style wedding dress. Another dress is Josephine, a firm favourite of ours and also gorgeous as an evening gown, coming in a gorgeous range of colours, all fit for that red carpet star appearance or romantic rendevous.

Motasem is the middle name of Sabina Ali, meaning “having an attractive and imposing appearance suggestive of health and strength; good-looking and beautiful”.
